Canada Shipping
We ship to Canada!
However, it is very important that our customers understand certain things about shipping to Canada.
The time things take to get to Canada is very unpredictable. We have had packages arrive as fast as 4 days and we had one take as long as 3 weeks. The average time is between 7 - 10 business days. We cannot guarantee any time frame on delivery to our Canadian customers.
The United States Postal Service advertises between 6 - 10 business days for Priority Mail and does not guarantee a time for items shipped via First Class Mail: Despite these statements, one still has to consider customs. We do not know what happens once the parcel leaves the US and enters customs. Things may be "held up" no matter by what method they are sent.
Neither Priority Mail nor First Class Mail has true "tracking." They both have customs ID numbers by which the package can be identified, but it is not tracked like FedEx. If you look up the tracking number that we send you upon shipping the package on the USPS website, it will show the package as "picked up in Iowa." It will not show it as having left the US or entering Canada. Again, it is only a customs ID and not a true tracking number.
Customs fees apply to orders greater than $400. We do not know the customs rates.
Due to the complexity of shipping across our border, our site only displays Priority Mail shipping rates which are quite expensive. A Flat Rate envelope (in which only the smallest of items can fit) is $11.45. A Flat Rate box is 26.95. First Class shipping rates are much less expensive and can be used for orders less than 40 ounces. Below are the First Class shipping rates based on weight so you can get an approximate idea of how much it would cost to ship your item via First Class Mail. If you would like to have your item shipped to you via First Class Mail, when you make your purchase, please email us at info@zumbafashion.com to let us know. Also, please note it in the comments section of your order so it shows up on your invoice. We will ship it to you via First Class Mail (if possible) and will refund you the difference as soon as the transaction clears. Again, please keep in mind that First Class Mail may take longer (sometimes a lot longer) than Priority Mail.
